Exercise 1.3 Portraiture Typology (p.29)

The aim of the exercise is to create a photographic portraiture typology that attempts to bring together a collection of types.

Below is a combination of twelve images that shows each of my kids holding different kind of food, some they like and others they don’t.  I photographed them against a simple plain wall and made them wear simple outfits so the viewer would concentrate more on their faces and expressions.


The aim of this portraiture typology is to capture the kids’ expressions and reactions when they are given something that they like and something that they dislike.
